Know the Culture Australia with Native Speaker from Australia

Last Tuesday on  1 February 2012, we have an open dialouge class with Kirrilly , originally from Canberra Australia. And now he's living in Indonesia.
He talked and shared lots of things about Australia, and his experiences in Indonesia.
In Australia many people learn the Indonesian language, Spanish, and Japanese. He himself studied in Indonesian since junior high. He said that he had many friends in Australia who come from Indonesia.

In Australia is very hot, very different from the
Salatiga. The most interesting places in Australia is Queensland. In Australia there is no traditional music, traditional dance or traditional foods such as in Indonesia, because Australia is a modern country, but there are indigenous people who have a traditional culture.
Kirrilly words, stereotypes Australia are:
-         That people were not friendly Australia
-         The highly individualized Australia
-         Australia people were disciplined, timely
-         Australia people gosiper

At first he  with culture shock in Indonesia Since
1.      Every morning when he heard the sound of the Azan at mosques  she can not sleep when he heard the sound and feel of disturbing. Because there is also no mosque but did not use the speaker. But over time he's used to it, was able to adapt.
2.      When he visited Bali he saw a dirty beach.
3.      When he visited the market Blotongan traditional market in Quezon City, she was amazed that all things are sold in one place but there are a variety of merchandise there is fruit, meat, vegetables, etc., because in Australia the seller does not meet in the market place. but he also felt Happy to go to the market, because he did not have to haggle with the seller, because he thought that the price is already cheaper than in Australia.

Favorite food in Indonesia is rendang. he thought that Indonesia is a beautiful country with very nice people, friendly and funny ..
